The Arc of Washington State is thrilled to welcome Michelle O’Dell as the Coordinator for the new Thurston Developmental Disabilities Coalition. Michelle comes to us having already started a coalition of interested community members who want to mobilize their voices and tell their stories. Michelle is a parent of a child with developmental disabilities and a strong advocate for change so families and individuals with IDD can tell their stories, get connected to the services they need, how and when they need them, and advocate for improvements to our DD system.  I can’t wait to support this great work so we can build a community that is stronger and better together.
