The Arc@Work employs a comprehensive and multi-tiered approach to support corporations to develop, sustain, and scale disability hiring initiatives. We provide several services to our business clients, any of which can either be a standalone service or bundled into a comprehensive consulting package.

We work hand-in-hand with our clients to create inclusive workplaces and hiring practices and forge connections between our clients and their local disability community to attract jobseekers with disabilities. This process includes:

Creating an Environment for Success

We deploy a detailed assessment of our clients’ workplace and practices—including recruiting policies, physical work spaces, social gatherings, meeting protocols, internal communications, and other vital facets of business operations—to identify and address any barriers in accessibility or inclusion that may prevent the hiring of a candidate with disabilities.

Disability Awareness and Bias Training

Our team of disability experts provide a wide range of corporate disability awareness trainings to our clients, including managing and working with individuals with I/DD, effective hiring practices for people with I/DD, accommodations for people with I/DD, and more. Tell us what your training needs are, and we will create a customized plan based on your preferences.

Connecting Employers to the Untapped Disability Labor Market

Many local agencies, schools, social and religious groups, and other organizations serve people with disabilities. The Arc@Work helps our corporate clients forge connections and vet these organizations as sources for qualified and talented job seekers.

Securing Supports for New Hires

The Arc@Work partners with our corporate clients, local talent sourcing organizations, and state governments to ensure that each individual in need of workplace accommodations is accounted for and that their needs are met.

Achieving Cultural and Financial ROI

As with all business decisions, the success and sustainability of a disability hiring project can be measured in part by its return on investment. The Arc@Work supports our corporate clients in creating strategies to achieve and measure financial ROI as well as creating branding and external messaging strategies to promote our clients’ disability inclusive work culture.
